"Opium Brides" is one way the Taliban stay in power

This picture below is a picture of a 6 year old who was traded to the Taliban's as a result of not paying their debt. This is the way the Taliban's feel is the way to pay their debt. The Taliban's strike deals with poor farmers to grow Opium and the Afghan government forbids anyone growing drug related plants. Solders and other people who are against growing Opium destroy these plants and the farmers are put into debt. The Taliban's get their money from selling drugs around the world. So the Taliban's not only ruin peoples lives in Afghanistan but also world wide.

This is one of the poor farmers who fell into the Taliban traps and as a result they took his youngest daughter. He was depressed and started smoking the plants he grew. Watch it on Frontline.
